A button in the app to trigger a screen refresh on the calendar
I was playing around with settings for my inku and the option to manually trigger a screen refresh to see the changes on the calendar would've been very helpful

·about 2 months agoHey @Elizabeth Dewsnap - totally down to add that, have been considering it myself.
Question: How would this differ from just tapping the button on the device. The device has to be woken up anyways for any commands from the app to go through to the device as the device sleeps to conserve battery between refreshes ?
Or would you like to force refresh the screen even if nothing has changed wrt themes/content of the calendar etc.
Exactly, a force refresh regardless of changes. Also in scenarios like I described where the device is already awake as you're fiddling with settings (themes, avatars) a force refresh would be very useful
Thanks Elizabeth! In the next firmware update, waking your Inku with its button will always force a full refresh, even if nothing changed. That covers trying out themes and avatars.
