Adaptative Avatar depending on task list/ hour of day
Would be nice to have your avatar in work mode, in rest mode or other modes depending on if you're working at this time of day or the state of your to do list

image 1·almost 2 years agoDefinitely something we've thought about - a natural extension for Inku!
I would love to have different sprites for different tasks/periods of the day. It would be super fun to have different expressions for helpful tips or encouragement messages, too! I think the community would be more than happy to create as many variations as the firmware is willing to support, so having the option to assign specific sprites to individual tasks or categories and a user-friendly way to customize expressions based on tone, etc. would add a lot of charm and depth to the avatars.
As a digital artist myself, I would love to have my custom avatar cycle through many different expressions/poses just to add variety, or even cycle between a cast of multiple characters if given the option. I think the more flexible the avatar customization features are, the more the community will be able to expand upon it.
KCBDR Definitly, I'm an artist too and I think it'd be so fun to make those ! Also it would make inkuu so much more alive :D
Also help with focusing because of body doubling !
I would love to see this as a part of pomodoro timers or when you have scheduled breaks on your calendar. Maybe the avatar would be relaxing reading while waiting, but when working it’s more active? Could this possibly be factored into the ai personality? This is a cool idea!
This is live: when you make an avatar, you can add variants and describe when each one should appear (for example 'when I'm working' or 'on rest days'), and Inku picks one through the day. For more control, like priority between variants or rotating sets, see 'Choose when each avatar and variant shows'.
Just a query. I'm having issues with never seeing my avatar change from the default, is this an issue with my wording?
