Upcoming events reminders
The possibility to add reminders for upcoming events, that are further away.
Like a reminder for upcoming birthdays or exams ahead of time, perhaps a week or month (like a sticky note that stays there till the event passed).
With the possibility to assign certain reminder times to certain categories of events (i.e. remind me of "birthdays" "1 month" beforehand.

I have been missing my credit card reminders in my calendar app.
Would be useful if there is an option for certain reminders/tasks to have to be checked off. And then highlighted red or become a priority if unchecked past due date.
Or maybe the avatar could be anxious or angry and ‘order’ you to do that task now.
I honestly thought this would be a feature to begin with.
Hey peeps! It'd be easy to implement this into inku (regarding custom times like about 1 week before etc) as long as we set the reminder within the calendar/todo list apps it is pulling from.
We won't build it directly into Inku though due to the extra maintenance burden + it'd be weird to not have those settings live with your actual tasks/events. Inku will naturally always remind you of whats up next during the day.
